Issues with 2FA and can not access backup codes or change account settings

I am having issues with receiving SMS / Text codes for 2FA to access my account. I have not setup a passkey / auth app as of yet. When i request the code to be sent after doin hooman proof, I  still do not get the code. I have went and tried several times on the support page to include my phone number, but it will not accept it. I can provide all necessary info needed to prove i am, who I am to remedy this issue and start using an authenticator app.
