Saw this because I was having the issue, Razer Support does NOTHING to assist. It worked, plain and simple it worked and Razer Support could not figure it out……..
“This seems to be part of the default Windows installation on my (Intel-based) computer. The Kraken was automatically using this for its driver instead of the default generic USB audio driver. All I had to do was go into Windows Device Manager, expand Sound, video and game controllers, and disable Intel Smart Sound Technology for USB Audio.”
This 100% fixed the mic issue for me, no more muddy jumbly BS, just sound.
ISSUES WITH KRAKEN V3 MIC DISTORTION RESOLVED not returning now.
