Issues with Razer Cynosa V2 - Media keys repeating/delayed/spamming etc

Before I type out the issue, I have to say that I already ‘reset’ the keyboard (unplugged and plugged back in holding those three keys) and I’ve reinstalled the software as suggested after removing anything to do with Razer using the download stuff from the links in other support posts.

So my issue is that, seemingly at random, the media keys start acting up. For example, I’ll press volume up and nothing happens for a few seconds, until suddenly it works… but doesn’t stop working and will just put the volume up as far as it can. It also shows the volume still going up on the screen as though I’m holding the button. It does this for every media key and, for another example, will just keep skipping songs if I press to skip to the next song etc. It also stops the windows key from working at all. Every other key seems fine, though I’ve not checked the F keys or numpad.

Again, I’ve reset the keyboard and reinstalled the software etc. I’m at a loss. My other Razer items (mouse and mousepad) seem fine.

Hey, @Sadismancer!

Try to reinstall your keyboard’s drivers by following the steps below:

1. Press Windows + S on your device to open the Search bar.
2. Type in “Device Manager” and hit Enter.
3. Go to "Keyboards" or "Human Interface Device".
4. Right-click on the Razer Cynosa V2 and select Uninstall device.
5. Restart your computer to completely uninstall the drivers.

The drivers will automatically reinstall after your computer restarts. If that didn’t worn, then watch this video clip on how to properly clean your keyboard. Feel free to send me a PM along with your device’s serial number if you need further assistance.
