I just purchased the Kaira Pro Headset for XBox. I paired it with my XBox X that is in the living room and with my laptop in my room using Bluetooth. When I go to my room (which is behind a couple of walls from the living room), it starts giving me these beeping sounds, which I've googled to mean that it's warning about the headset being sort of dangerously far away from the XBox, which is understandable but completely unnecessary and undesired effect.
I want to move between the living room and my room and use the headset alternatively with the XBox and with my laptop and I don't need to get any warning beeps about that.
I think my options would be to either
a) Unpair/disconnect the headset from the XBox when ending my gaming session with it to avoid the beeping (and XBox waking up when not used) when I move to my room to use with the laptop.
b) Configure the headset to not emit the warning sound due to distance from XBox. I guess that would still start XBox, but that would be tolerable.
So, how to achieve either a) or b)? Disconnect from XBox or silence the beep-warning sound?!?
Thanks,
- Petri
