kb4556799 for WIn10 destroys THX Spatial

Anyone else running into this? kb4556799 introduced the audio stutter bug many complain about, but at least my 'system' audio is OK if I use just that... but the moment I pipe my audio through THX Spatial it becomes amplified horrifically (the stutter issue.) I just reinstalled the software in hopes that would update the driver, but no love. Before anyone mentions it, I've already tried to remove the update - mine is one of those that Microsoft says, "it's required, and cannot be removed" from my system. Not mad at Razer here, just hoping this community can help find a solution that the MS fans haven't found yet. I'd really LOVE to use this... but as is, it's unusable.
