I have a Blackwidow Elite that is out of warranty and it just broke a key right off at its green post. It’s physically broken to where some of the green plastic support for the keycap sure seems to be broken away. I have no clue how I did that.
I do need a fully working keyboard but also don’t want to throw this one away and start over just because of a single broken key. I’d rather save this keyboard. IF it can be done sensibly in view of whatever time and money would be required to make a repair. The rest of the keys are working fine, so it seems very wasteful to dispose of this keyboard.
If anyone has experience with making a repair to breakage like I described, I would appreciate your advice.
