Keyboard inputting/spamming the '9' without being pressed on wired Blackwidow X Chroma

Without even pressing the 9 key the number 9 will be inputted sometimes once followed by a few more randomly, other times it will hold down the 9 key (the key’s switch is up so shouldn’t press the key). I have tried using a different USB port, reinstalling razer synapse, going into device manager to update drivers and tried running a command in command prompt. As I am writing this the number nine keeps being inputted resulting in something like this 999999999999999999999999999999999999999999, it seems to be triggered randomly sometimes but if I press the nine key nothing will happen until a second or so later when it spam inputted even if I take my finger off the key. It seems to stop when I press the 9 key again but that doesn’t always fix it. If anyone has any ideas on how to fix this please say. Thanks

After further testing it is the keyboard since I plugged in my old keyboard which is some 10 quid rapoo keyboard and that doesnt have the same issue. Idk if it is the razer software causing it or the keyboard itself but I have re-installed the software with no luck.

I’m having the same issue, and it stops, briefly, when I plug-in or unplug my external keyboard from my laptop, or when I press a different number key.  After a few minutes, it goes right back to 9s.  The only way I’ve found to stop it is to uninstall all my keyboard drivers.

I first tried just uninstalling my laptop keyboard drivers - not fixed.  Then I just uninstalled the external keyboard drivers - still bugged.  I’ve also tried removing the “9” key caps, but my keyboard has a full keyboard membrane under the caps and they were both clean.

Just found that it is definitely an issue with the 9 key on the number pad (NP) and not over the IO.  When I pressed the NP 9, the spamming started until I pressed another key, but then the NP 9 key stopped working briefly.

Hey guys,

If you continue to experience the issue, please send me a PM with the serial number so I can verify it in our system and check for applicable workarounds that might address the input issue.
