keyboard razer deathstalker v2 pro issues, some keys are not responding well. | Razer Insider

Hi,

I got an issue with my keyboard and I've tried everything I found to solve it but it didn't solve my problem.

Some keys are not responding the way they should.

For exemple, if I press the A or the E letter separately, nothing happen. But if I press them simultaneously, the letters are appearing.

I've tried:

-exit the demo mode

-clic the reset switch

-with or without synapse

-bluetooth, 2,4ghz or wired

-different computers

-update the firmware

-different 2,4ghz dongles

-replace the letters mechanical switches

Etc…

Nothing worked well.

The keyboard have always been sitting on a clean desk and is looking brand new.

How can I solve this problem?

I own this keyboard since 2 or 3 years, I'm really disappointed about it, I offered myself one of the most expensive keyboard on the market, not even for gaming, but to have a cool object that I could keep for a decade at least…

Lots of issues on my DeathStalker v2 pro.

I have the

Keyboard: DeathStalker v2 pro

Mouse: Deathadder v3 pro

Headset: BlackShark v2 pro wireless

All new. Not more than 1 week old.

I had read the same somewhere that if there are 2 devices connected, it gives an issue.

So, as per this video:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_uoqS_7RQTI

I did the same. all my firmware are upto date. No issues with mouse or headphones.

keyboard is connected to the mouse dongle and is using a single dongle to connect via Hyperspeed.

All connected to USB 2.0 ports.

Although improved,

  • I still keep getting isssues with random unresponsiveness on key press for a few seconds
  • Random reconnections. and kind of renders the keyboard unusable. Keyboard Flashes white before this happenes
  • Very rarely one keypress equates to multiple keypresses and results ion multiple characters on screen.
  • Continuous keypress doesn’t work at times. especially ingame. e.g. pressing ‘w’ for movement doesn’t result in continuous movement

Really surprised that such an expensive keyboard has such issues!!

If you have found any solution, please do let me know.

when running in games and with  key w with and without using shift for sprint it will continue to run but the stop randomly and in some cases stop forward movement and only let me go a few feet before stopping again

Hi everyone, I’m posting this in a few different threads of similar nature in the hoping of reaching more people.

Over the last year of owning a DSv2Pro, I’ve had this issue only a few times up to firmware v1.04, but it got really bad with v1.05.

Long story short, I’ve had a couple of unrelated issues with my computer and decided to enable Secure Boot (Win11, AM5), since I’ve done so and playing the same game in the same way, I haven’t had the issue in about an hour now.

So please follow your motherboard manufacturer’s instructions to enable Secure Boot, if it isn’t already, and all the best :)

Oh prior to me enabling Secure Boot, I also recently cleansed my computer of all Synapse installs, and installed V3, though right after doing this the issue actually got worse.
