Keyboard RGB settings in onboard memory profiles | Razer Insider
Skip to main content
What options do I have with regard to statically setting the default color values for the rgb lighting on a Razor BlackWidow Elite gaming keyboard?

The manual states: "the keyboard tab is the main tab for your Razer BlackWindow Elite. From here, you can change your device settings such as key assignments, gaming mode settings, and your device's lighting.

Changes made under this tab are automatically saved to your system and cloud storage, however you need to click the On-board Profiles button ... to open the storage slots for your Razer device's on-board memory then drag and drop the profiles you want to store on your device."

I have followed these instructions, yet the color settings (static), are not being applied when utilizing the onboard memory stored profiles.

The manual states 'and your device's lighting', but for reasons I cant work out, the color settings are not being saved or applied when switching between saved profiles via the FN + Menu key, when the keyboard is not being managed by the Synapse program and services.

Can anyone please advise how I go about making this keyboard work as per the manual - eg. the basic settings for color mode stored in the on-board memory actually get applied?

Or alternatively, a way to hard set the defaults.
