Kiyo flickering when plugged into Thunderbolt dock

Just purchased a Kiyo, excellent product but when its plugged into my Caldigit TS3 Plus Thunderbolt 3 dock it starts to flicker and the mic will go off and on after a 10/15 minutes of usage. I have to unplug it and plug it back in and then it works for another 10/15 minutes. Any ideas why/how this is happening? Only had the Kiyo a week, will have to send it back if it can't be resolved. Thanks
