Hey!
I bought a second-hand Razer Kiyo in February. It's cosmetically mint and in great condition, despite being bought autumn 2018. It seems to be slight defective however, as randomly, often after a couple of minutes of being on, half of the ring light turns off. This demonstrates that the lightbulbs are fully working, and that the camera in theory can work fully. It's therefore probably not because of it's age, also considering a lot of customers have had the exact same issue with new Kiyos, and it seems like a common issue:

I've uploaded a picture of the issue below.
I've tried the camera on multiple computers, with different combinations of available software (OBS/Synapse/Discord). I've also updated the firmware. The issue persists across all.
I'm fully aware that my waranty has expired and do not expect a new camera or repair (although I would greatly appreciate it, hehe). *cough* common issue *cough*. This seems fairly widespread as there are several threads on the issue.
Anyone have any experience on how this issue has been handled with previously or if Razer support are supportive in cases like this? All help/instructions on how to fix this myself are welcomed, as there is really no warranty to be void by evening opening the camera and trying to fix it.

As far as I know, this is supposed to be fixed by a specialized firmware update. But there is a good chance that you have a capacitor issue of sorts if you're already running the latest version. I'm afraid there's not much that I can add since both required affected users to send the webcams back to our Peripherals Team to install the update or replace the unit entirely.
