Kiyo Synapse on Mac and Camera Quality

Hello I have a few questions that hopefully I can get some help here. I currently just purchased the Kiyo camera. I'm using the device on a Mac and on a Windows machine and notice some items. 1. On the Mac side the Synapse v2 does not recognize the camera. Now, is this because my Mac is USB-C only so by using an adapter that I need to plug my Kiyo into causing the issue? Does Synapse on the MAc even see the Kiyo like it does in Synapse on the Windows side. 2. This brings me to another question. The camera quality is not as good on the Mac side as the Windows side. Is this because I have to use an adapter on the Mac side? 3. I also noticed on the Windows side, if I plug my Kiyo into my 32" Cintiq's USB the camera quality is not as good. However, when I plug the camera directly into my PC computer I get excellent camera quality. So I guess I'm asking. Does the camera only work to highest quality if it's directly plugged into the computer? Does Synapse 2 only see the camera if it's also directly plugged in on the Mac side? Trying to speak directly to Razer about these questions but can't find a place to ask them Any help would be appreciated. Stay safe and all the best.

Hi there! Thanks for initiating this thread. The Razer Kiyo is a plug and play device. However, it is designed to work for Windows computers with Windows 64-bit or higher. Also, the device's settings can only be tweaked using Razer Synapse 3.0, which is not compatible with Mac OS. Though an unofficial fix, I've seen a post from Reddit that some Macbook user was able to make the Razer Kiyo work by updating if firmware by plugging it in a Windows computer. Most of them were using it for Zoom.
