Kraken headset (just bought), unmuted mic picks up and plays all abmient sounds

I just opened and connected my Razer Kraken headset and the moment i put them on my head i could hear my breathing through the mic, i cound hear every sound in the house 10x louder until i muted my mic. Is this how it’s supposed to be or it it problematic? I had the exact same issue with my old headset, Razer Kraken X
