As the title says, my Kraken Kitty V2 BT isn’t turning on or charging. The indicator light by the charging port gives a solid green light no matter whether it’s plugged in or not. I’ve held down the button several times and it does not power on, whether plugged in or not. As far as I can tell it is powered off except for the indicator light, as it will not connect to any of my devices.
This first came up while it was in-use, it disconnected from my phone. I originally thought it must have died from low battery, but I haven’t seen a solid green indicator light before.
A few other issues I’ve had recently that I assume are unrelated to the current issue:
-I’ve occasionally had issues with charging, I’ve assumed the issue there is with my cables and have tried several new cables when trying to charge the headphones. (Worth noting the issue is not the outlet)
-I’ve had some issues with the cloth ear covers coming off the plastic earpieces
-The cloth covering the foam at the top of the headset came off a few months back
-The volume knob had been a little flaky recently, being very inconsistent on if it registered being turned, occasionally even registering itself as being turned the opposite way than it actually was
-There is a minor crack in the casing on the left ear
All in all the answer is probably to get it replaced under warranty, as it’s been a little over a year since I bought it, but I’d like to avoid the hassle if this issue has an easy fix of some kind.
