sometimes, not all the time, when i’m wearing my headphones, and the cord jiggles or moves slightly, the power to the headphones will cut out. it always comes back (so far anyway). the following are also true:
-they’re plugged into a usb port extender (it’s not the extender itself, it’s brand new and still doing the thing)
-the mouse and keyboard both continue to work during my headset doing whatever it does
-sometimes it seems like the entire computer is going to freeze up when it’s doing this (rare)
-it can happen whether the computer has been on for a while or if it has just been started up
does it sound like a headphones issue or maybe a short elsewhere?
