Kraken pro v2 (green) mic not working at all

I have had these headphones for about a month or two and never really used the mic, but yesterday i went on discord to talk with my friend and the mic didn't work at all. My friend told me that all he hears is static and nothing else. I went onto sound settings and saw that the green bar on the right doesn't move at all. I have tried enabling and disabling everything for the mic and nothing worked.
