Kraken Splitter cable not working.

So one day I was going away to a friends house for the weekend and instead of using the splitter cable I used the default 3.5mm jack. then when I got back If I used the splitter cable my mic wouldn't work. none of my discord/device settings have changed and I looked at Razer support they never said anything about fixing the microphone. Has anyone else encountered this problem and how do I fix it? at the moment I am not using the splitter cable but the cable is MUCH shorter and is quite uncomfortable to play with. p.s I am not 100% sure if it is Kraken pro or basic.

If the headset still works without the splitter, then the splitter is highly likely broken. PM me the serial number of your headset so I can verify the model. Let's go from there.
