Kraken TE with Xbox one (question)

Yes pretty much, wanted to bypass plugging into into the console (as I know it doesn’t work in the console) and just have it hooked up to my controller 3.5mm audio port instead, I didn’t want to waste money on an adaptor incase it didn’t work so thought I’d try ask the experts first

Thanks for getting back to me. The Kraken TE has two connection types so you should be able to use it with your console controller even without an adaptor. Let me know if you have any more questions.

I know I can use it with just the 3.5mm jack I just wanted to know if the audio controller would also work by using an adaptor. But I’m guessing it doesn’t, Ive bought an official Xbox audio controller for my Xbox controller and that works fine along side the head set. Thanks for your help

Thanks for the reply. The USB audio controller will not work that way as it needs the software to work properly. You're welcome, and just let me know if you need more help.
