Kraken Ultimate Sound Quality

My Razer Kraken Ultimates just came in the mail today and as soon as I plugged them in and started using them I noticed how awful the sound quality was. It sounded muddy and not clear at all. I've been using the Kraken 7.1 V2 for I believe around a year now and they sound substantially more clear and clean in audio then the Ultimates do. Just to make sure it wasn't me just being used to the 7.1 V2 I brought in each of my family members and made them shut their eyes and put each headset on and let them compare which was better audio quality and they all agreed the 7.1 V2 were best. Are mine just defective or is anyone else having this problem? How should I fix this?

Hey there! Sorry to hear about the headset's concern. Have you tried connecting the Razer Kraken Ultimate to a different USB port or computer? Should the issue persists, please send me a PM together with the headset's serial number via PM. Let's continue from there.
