Kraken V3 hypersense Muffled Audio

had a synapse update this morning, after my pc restarted my audio was very muffled, i also noticed that tweaking any of the settings (except for haptic intensity, that one works normally) did literally nothing to the audio. currently my best guess as to what is happening is that somehow the settings are locked to have THX audio on, and when i change the settings its not actually changing those settings and just saying it is. i did notice THX muffled my audio when i turned it on when i first got this headset like 2 and a half years ago so thats why im thinking its somehow forced on
