Kraken V3 Pro No Sound

Hi all,

I’m having an issue with my headset  I’m getting no audio output at all. The side buttons still work for media control, and Razer Synapse detects the device, but it won’t output any sound.

This happens occasionally and usually turning the headset off and on fixes it, but this time nothing works. I’ve restarted my PC and even tested it on my Razer laptop with the same result.

Here’s what I’ve tried so far:

  • Unplugging and re-plugging the dongle

  • attempted Updating the drivers cant see it 

  • Uninstalling/reinstalling the software and drivers

  • Checking the USB port for dirt or debris

  • Disabling effects / turning off surround sound and spatial audio

  • Restarting the PC

  • Setting the headphones as the default device

  • Checking sound properties and mixer settings

  • Checked if there was any weird AMD setting thats changed my Audio 

What’s strange is that I’m unable to update the firmware Synapse can see the headset, but the firmware updater can’t detect it, on both my desktop and laptop.

Any ideas or suggestions would be appreciated.

I'm here to help. I understand that you're experiencing an issue with your Razer Kraken V3 Pro, where there is no audio output despite the device being detected and the side buttons functioning. Your headset can be connected to a mobile device using the 3.5mm jack that came with it. Can you test if the issue also happens with this connection? If the problem persists, we can deem the device faulty. If the headset is within 2 years of warranty from the date of purchase, please send me a PM with the serial number and proof of purchase so I can check for replacement options.
