Hi all,

I just received my brand new Kraken V3 Wired RGBs and there are a few issues with them.

First and foremost, when the RGB lighting is enabled, there’s a small interference-like sound coming out of the left-hand side. Mode or light brightness does matter, as it’s significantly less noisy on one-color static mode compared to a cycle or breath mode.

Let’s say I can survive without the RGB lighting (although disappointing for a headset like this).

The worst thing is that after every single small or big sound output, there’s a short humming-like sound (which you can hear as there’s no complete silence)  then followed by a small beep sound. This is every time a video ends or paused, every time I stop typing (as there’s an electronic clicking sound on my Opera GX for each keystroke). In other words, any time a sound output series is over, instead of instant silence there’s this small yet annoying pop.

What I’ve tried so far:

  • All USB ports
  • Re-install Synapse
  • Different PC
  • Adjust Windows settings
  • Windows Updates
  • All driver installations
  • Disable/Enable THX Audio (doubt that’s the issue as I just came from the BlackShark V2 USB Sound Card which had no issues)
  • Set Kraken as default, etc

I will return these as it seems like a hardware issue of the model, but if anyone has any fix in mind please let me know.
