I am not hearing myself through my headset. I installed Synapsis 3 and didn’t find anything that would help. I hear my friend on Discord and the game I am playing .From all the headsets I’ve had I’ve been able to hear myself. I went into the playback in windows sound and enabled the listen option but it gives a bad echo.Am supposed to hear myself in my headset by default?

Regarding your inquiry, no, by default, you are not supposed to hear yourself through your headset. The feature you are referring to is called "sidetone," which allows you to hear your own voice through the headset. Not all headsets have this feature.
