Good afternoon RAZER Support,
I have already shared to POSITIVE and SUPPORTIVE comments on the INSIDER discussions regarding this issue, so hopefully those will soften the overall impact of the issue and encourage other KRAKEN V3 X headset buyers not to give up hope. I would very much like to explore REPAIR options for the headset versus discarding these as I am currently unemployed and have no means to replace at this time. My work around prior to the end of my last Contractor job assignment was to buy the cheapest USB wired headset Walmart had -- a Logitech H390 for less than $30 and revert back to using that.
If there are any known vendors such as “IFIX” who can handle KRAKEN V3 X headset repairs, I would possibly be able to tap into those resources locally. In this case is would be awesome to know RAZER has negotiated some arrangement with a vendor to establish a “Preferred Vendor” relationship -- i.e. good for RAZER and good for the independent repair vendor also. Has anybody explored this idea?
I previously worked for Curtis Mathes televisions years and years ago, which you all might not know this but AT THAT TIME they had a “Lifetime Warranty” of televisions because the selected higher-grade Resistors and Capacitors to be used on the circuit boards and fully believed these would last longer. I worked for an independent retailer of Curtis Mathes named, “Crest Home Centers” up near Cleveland, Ohio which had 13 stores in operation there at the time.
