kraken v4 pro tinny/robotic sidetone

Brand new out of the box kraken v4 pro. I have updated the firmware, uninstalled and reinstalled drivers for both the headset and synapse 4 and nothing i do fixes the tinny/robotic sound that the sidetone has. The mic works fine. When i preview the mic it sounds awesome but for some reason the sidetone sounds horrible and I can't find a fix. Razer support i am begging you for help
