Hello,
I just bought a brand new Kraken X USB headset and every time I plug it on my pc a static sound is emitted. This sound happens constantly, even when music or a video is not playing. I tried to plug it on differents USB ports in the computer, but it continues. I also tried to disabled the enhancements of the headset but it doesnt solve the problem. I think it is a hardware problem because the headset doesnt make any static noises when I plug it on my older pc.
I dont know how to solve this issue. The computer is a 2014 HP with processor Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-4770 CPU 3,4GHz, 3401Mhz with an NVIDIA High Definition Audio card. I never got any problem with the audio using other devices like a 3.5mm jack headset, but this is the first time using a USB headset and the static sound is horrible. On a side note the microphone of the headset works perfectly.
Maybe the audio card inside the pc has some dust and that might be causing this issue, I´ll check that, but other than that I´m very lost on what could be happening.
Thanks for listening and I hope you could give any advice. Thank you.
Félix.
