Kuromi Razer Kraken kitty v2 BT wireless has horrible mic quality

I recently purchased the Kuromi Razer Kraken kitty v2 BT wireless headphones, however the mic quality ended up atrocious and unusable despite the promotion stating it has “crystal clear voice pickup”. Synapse doesn’t even acknowledge its existence and when it does I only have a very basic volume setting. I’ve tried any and all troubleshooting I could but they simply do not work at all for voice chatting and that’s one of the main reasons I purchased. Is there anything specific I can try to solve the issue (other than the troubleshooting already provided by razer or.. well, anything found at the top of search results.) or should i be looking into returns/refunds?
