Goodmorning,

Quick scenario

I have a Razer Naga V2 Pro and I am using a HP Omen 27K screen with build in KVM switch. My mouse is connected into this KVM switch.

Issue

Whenever I double click my Razer mouse the KVM activates and swaps to the other connected device (desktop and laptop connected). Which is really annoying ofcourse because double clicking is rather common action to perform.

Troubleshooting steps taken

  • I tested with another laptop connected to my screen and gives the same issue.
  • I updated all drivers and reinstalled the peripheral.
  • Tested with two other mouses and non of them had the same issues.
  • Made sure no keybinds or macros where installed on the mouse.
  • Checked and adjusted usb power management settings.

I have this issue with my USB switch. My keyboard and 10 key never have an issue, but my razer mouse periodically errors when I swap devices on the switch and I have to unplug the razer mouse and plug it back in for it to work. Would love to find a solution.

It seems Razer products do not work with KVM. If you can get one to work it’s a miracle.

I asked support but I doubt they will know which KVM work.

I’ll be forced to stop using Razer if I can’t get this KVM to work for my work pc and personal pc.

I have a  HP Omen 27K and have the same issue with the Razer Pro Click V2 Vertical mouse!

Very frustrating and makes no sense at all. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Ok, it works fine if you swap the USB ports around - when the mouse is connected to the USB port on the right (when you’re looking at the logo on the front of the monitor) then double clicking does nothing special. When it’s plugged into the one on the right, double clicking somehow triggers a kvm switch.

I would still very much like to know why it’s being triggered as it would be crazy useful to have it bound to the silly AI button!

Anyway, hope this fix helps.
