Laptop Crashes When Battery is Removed | Razer Insider

Hello, I'm running a Razer Blade 15 2019 Base Model.

When I removed the back lid from the laptop to remove dust, I noticed the battery was swelling, but not by too much.

This has already happened before, and I've already had my laptop shipped to Razer to get a replacement battery. This time, however, the warranty had run out already. So, I decided to remove the battery temporarily.

After putting the back plate back on and booting up the laptop, everything was running normally, and I opened a game (Escape from Tarkov). Everything was running normally, however when actually loading into a match, the screen turned black and my laptop crashed. The same happens with Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege, but seems to not happen with CS:GO.

I also ran a CPU stress test (prime95) and a GPU stress test (FurMark) simultaneously, and it was running fine until I went to close FurMark, at which point the computer crashed just like when loading into a match in one of the mentioned games.

I was able to load into a match of Rainbow Six Siege with some background apps closed, however right after that, loading into Tarkov was not successful. I didn't do much testing with CS:GO and Siege so I can't be sure if the times that they loaded were really just random.

After placing the battery back into the laptop, I was able to successfully load into a map in Escape from Tarkov.

Since I mostly use my laptop plugged in, I don't care as much about the battery swelling. I'm more concerned about the laptop crashing with the battery removed, and would appreciate help on that subject, since I intend to use the laptop without a battery in the future.
