Razer Blade 15 (2017)

I've uninstalled the laptop keyboard driver as a temporary fix for now and am using an external keyboard to type, but if this is a software issue and can be fixed I'd hope to have that done. Started happening a couple weeks back, when the computer got a little hotter from Valorant. Today it started just happening all the time. I've tried letting the computer shut down to cool for a while but that doesn't seem to have helped.

Is it something inside the device that's fried?
im having the same issue with my blade pro 17 (2017), sent it back to Razer and they basically did nothing. supposedly they fixed the scroll wheel, but hardware wise there was nothing else wrong. i fired it up when i got back and it was still happening, which leads me to believe that it's a software issue. Maybe it's an issue with the latest version of windows not being compatible with some of the hardware.
I've sent it for repairs and it's not back yet, but for me I'm 90% sure it was some hardware thing where the keyboard circuit melted into the cpu or something like that. We'll see in a couple weeks
Keep me posted, I'm curious to see what's causing it

Hey man, have you heard back from razer yet, and if so, what was wrong??

Oh whoops I thought I'd already replied here but I guess I haven't :0 The repairs ended up taking 2 months total since they were waiting for parts the whole time.

I didn't manage to ask the repair people exactly what went wrong, but the bill said they had replaced the motherboard, the keyboard (circuit I think), and the battery. My guess is that the bloated battery increased the heating effect and that caused the motherboard and keyboard circuits to melt into each other to cause the problems.
