Latest Razer Synapse updates are crashing my computer and breaking the Razer software completely. | Razer Insider

So I have had some issues with my computer stopping working and upon reboot the razer software is broken (not loading). I have to uninstall and reinstall to get this working again and it was starting to get quite regular however, the last time I disabled the Razer update service and this stopped the crashing from happening up until today when the Razer software did an update anyway (service is still disabled - I checked). Which resulted in the same system crash - no internet nothing would load and I had to do a manual push button computer reset on my PC. I have loaded the computer again to find the Razer software is unsurprisingly not working again.

I am running an up to date version of Windows 10.

My questions on this are:
1) What does the update service do since it clearly does not do updates?

2) Anyone know why this is happen and how to fix it?
3) Anyone know how to disable Razer updates to at least let me stop this from happening until an actual newer release of the Razer download is available from the website?
Its still the same version as the last one I installed manually)

Thanks in Advance 👍

I am having the same problem. It started downloading the new update yesterday and then froze. Couldn’t even get task manager running stable enough to close it. Eventually the computer restarts. Every time within seconds of logging in the computer freezes and prevents me from closing or preventing Synapse from launching. It appears synapses has is finishing the download but on the rare occasion the computer unfreezes for second before restarting I can see the update has fully downloaded and the Update button is highlighted. No idea how to stop this cycle because I can’t close it from task manager or uninstall from control panel because it freezes basically instantly after/during login. Not sure what I could do through bios either.
