LED Razor Black Widow Elite not working on desktop

Hi I have the Razer Black Widow Elite. When I play games or my PC is in sleep mode, the lighting of the keyboard works fine. When I am on desktop, the complete lighting is off (pressing fn button still highlights some keys). When I delete Razer-Synapose, the lighting works on the desktop. I guess I accidently made some settings in synapse that shuts LED-light down when on the desktop... any ideas what happened to me? greetings :)
