Left/Right handed mouse profiles

I am a lefty - but I do switch sides of the keyboard, and when I try to make a profiles for say 'left handed' and 'right handed' - I have to actually go in and switch the 'handedness' of the mouse, as the primary button is locked to the handededness if you will is there a way to unlock that? or manage ?
