I have contacted Razer support via the web form but wanted to see if anyone has any ideas as the Live Chat is unavailable at this time in the EU.
My Leviathan just arrived today and it crackles and pops without the optical or aux cable plugged in, just the power supply. It does the same via Bluetooth as well. I tried the power cable from my wife's Leviathan and it has the same crackling and popping issue. I think there is also only sound coming out of the right speaker on the soundbar.

I've spoken to support earlier today and they have arranged a replacement, the fault seems to be in the soundbar itself. So just to confirm it was crackling/popping with both cables connected or disconnected, just in case anyone else has this issue.
