Lost Profiles and Settings After Upgrading to Synapse 4 and Chroma Studio Split

Dear Razer Support,

I recently updated from Synapse 3 to Synapse 4, and I’ve noticed a significant change that has affected my user experience. Previously, in Synapse 3, I could manage my Razer BlackWidow keyboard settings, including game-specific profiles and custom lighting configurations, all within a unified interface through Chroma Studio. However, after the upgrade, Synapse 4 and Chroma Studio are now separated into two distinct applications.

Unfortunately, this transition has resulted in the loss of all my previously configured game profiles and lighting settings. These included:

  • Custom game-specific profiles
  • Personalized RGB lighting effects created in Chroma Studio
  • Other essential usage settings tailored to my workflow

This situation has severely disrupted my ability to use my keyboard as intended, and it is quite frustrating to have to recreate everything from scratch.

Could you please provide guidance on how to recover these lost profiles and settings? Alternatively, if no recovery is possible, are there any steps I can follow to prevent such issues in the future during updates?

I have the same issue.  ALWAYS Razer does this with updates… they screw it all up and the customer get f$cked.  I hate Razer software… it's such crap.
