Hello Razer Support Team,

I’m writing about my Razer Pro Type keyboard. I’ve run into two issues and would appreciate your guidance:

  1. Lost 2.4GHz USB Receiver
I misplaced the USB dongle and can currently use only Bluetooth.

  • Can I purchase a replacement HyperSpeed/2.4GHz USB receiver for the Pro Type?

  • If yes, what is the process and cost in the Philippines, and how do I pair the new receiver with my keyboard?

  1. “D” Key Misbehaving
The D key intermittently double-types or fails to register. I already checked Razer Synapse (remapping/macros are off) and tried the steps below, but the issue persists:

  • Reinstalled/updated Razer Synapse

  • Reset settings to default (no macros, Gaming Mode off)

  • Tried the keyboard on another PC/device and different USB ports

  • Cleaned the key/switch area and reseated the keycap

  • Tested over Bluetooth (same behavior)

Could you advise on next steps to isolate whether this is a software/firmware issue or a hardware switch issue? If hardware, please let me know the RMA/service process and the nearest authorized service center or shipping instructions for the Philippines.

Hi sightsoloVioletRYB779,

I understand you need a replacement 2.4GHz USB receiver for your Razer Pro Type. Unfortunately, the part you are looking for is currently unavailable, and we don't have an estimated restock date. Please keep checking our replacement parts for updates, or check other retailers online for availability.

Regarding the "D" key issue, it seems you've done extensive troubleshooting. As an additional step, try testing with Razer Synapse closed or disabled to see if the problem persists. If the issue continues, it may indicate a hardware fault. If your device is still under the 2-year warranty, please PM me with your device’s serial number and proof of purchase for warranty validation. To set your expectations as well, currently, Razer does not provide repairs for peripheral devices. Thank you for your patience and cooperation!
