Mamba Elite Double Click Randomly

After a few years of basic use for work, my Mamba Elite seems to randomly double-click while holding down the left mouse button. Clicking to highlight has become a nightmarish issue where sometimes it begins to highlight the section then loses the highlight and instantly begins to highlight a different section. It's acting as though clicking and holding to drag is sporadically dropping during the drag. I saw posts from 2018 with a firmware update but my firmware is updated, so that's not it. This happens on several computers, so it can't be the software. The USB connector is not kinked, bent or damaged in any way, there have been no liquid spills or anything like that.

It must be hard for you to deal with the double-clicking issue since you use this device for work. For now, you can follow these steps as they may fix the issue on your Razer Mamba Elite.
