Hi,
I've been having this odd issue with the mouse where the scroll wheel reacts in odd ways. In essence, using the scroll wheel results in the scroll happening both up and down on the PC, regardless of which direction you scroll.
If I scroll by a single "notch", it works correctly about half the time, sometimes it scrolls in the opposite direction, other times it scrolls in the correct direction, followed by a scroll in the opposite direction. It seems that scrolling down is more reliable and works more often than scrolling up.
Here's what I've done:
Tested on multiple computers and operating systems. Tested on Win 10, Win 11 and Arch Linux. Therefore it's not a host software issue.
I've opened the mouse, cleaned it with compressed air and isopropyl alcohol. I've unplugged, cleaned and reseated all of the connectors inside, including the scroll wheel sensor thingy.
I think it's a hardware problem, but I'm unsure what would be the cause. I've never abused the mouse, and there wasn't a lot of dirt inside when I cleaned it.
Suggestions would be appreciated, because I don't want to spend money on another mouse.

This is highly likely a hardware issue based on the isolation steps you tried. Nevertheless, it will be difficult for us to get a replacement approved since you already opened the mouse.
