Mamba Tournament Edition freezes

Good afternoon, 

I have a Razer Mamba TE. It will randomly freeze which is only corrected through disconnecting and reconnecting the mouse. I’ve tried uninstalling and reinstalling the driver and tried it on a different machine as well and get the same issue. 

I suspect it may be firmware as I saw a post around that. Unfortuantely the link to the firmware as well as the razer site don’t have any for the mouse.

Unfortunately not much you can do about this mouse, seeing as Mambas are no longer produced and obviously no longer supported. I would just go buy a DeathAdder V3 Pro and call it a win because the internal components are lightyears better and the ergonomics formfactor is mostly the same but improved some over the years.

 

Razer has not produced the Mamba mice in about 5 years now for good reasons, besides, most people were just having issue after issue with them so that’s why they discontinued making the Mamba line altogether.

Thanks for your reply. I was hoping to get the old firmware version that the guys had found that fixed it but no joy. I did a factory reset yesterday and have the new version of Synapse installed and haven’t had an issue yet, so far so good. 

I have the Deathadder V3 Pro at home and very very happy with it. Got it for the PS5 and totally agree, really brilliant mouse. The Mamba is my old mouse which I am using at the office so I can have the Naga for MMO at home as well.
