Mamba Wireless (2018) problem

I recently got a Mamba Wireless. it works great for the most part but, occasionally the scroll wheel light will flicker and I won't be able to move my cursor. It happens about 3 times a day and lasts for several seconds which can be especially annoying if you are in-game. I want to know if this is a common problem or if it is a defect of my specific mouse.
