when i plug them into my pc i get sound then it keeps beeping and i get an error saying there was a malfunction and they disconnect.

Hi there! Thanks for initiating this thread. Have you plugged the headset's USB transceiver into a different USB port or computer? Have you run Windows troubleshooter and check if it detected an issue in your system?
