Media keys not working with synapse open.

Hi, when i have razer synapse 4 running the media keys on my cynosa v2 do not work. 
This is not a hardware issue as the keyboard works perfectly when synapse is closed.
I have already tried reinstalling drivers, doing a hard reset of the keyboard, updating windows, etc to no luck.
I have not changed keybinds and have confirmed the keyboard has its factory settings.
Has anyone got ideas? thanks.

I’m here to help, and thanks for sharing your concern and the steps you’ve already tried. Since the keyboard media keys work fine when Razer Synapse 4 is closed, this points to a possible software issue. I’d recommend performing a clean reinstall of Razer Synapse, then restarting your PC and testing the media keys again. If the same issue persists, please PM me and help answer a few questions below so we can isolate the issue further:

  • When did the issue first start?
  • Were there any changes or new software/updates installed just before it began?
  • Have you had a chance to test the keyboard on a different PC with Synapse installed to see if the behavior is the same?
