I was looking to see if anyone had a similar issue or a solution. My 2019 razer suddenly is having overheating issues. This has appeared suddenly and without warrant.



What happens is that for a small amount of time the game will run perfectly at its normal settings(typically ultra for what I play) then the temperature will start to rise and what was once 60fps can drop to the single digits depending on the game. Two big examples of this is Red Dead Redemption 2 which had previously run without issue and Far Cry 5 which had also run ultra settings with no issue. Processor Temperatures seem to go to 90 degrees Celsius when gaming.



I have attempted to undervolt the processor to reduce consumption and lower heat which does not have any long lasting effect. On certain games I only use 2gb out of 8 of vram so I do not believe it is a graphics card issue. Currently I am on a second factory reset. So I cannot record data at this very moment.



if anyone could help me I would be extremely grateful. I am less than 20 days over a year of purchasing this machine so I cannot even use the limited warranty and get official help and while I really like it at this moment not playing games has turned it into a waste of money.
