Dear Razer Support Team,

I hope you are doing well.

I am reaching out because I am experiencing an issue with the microphone on my Razer BlackShark V3 X HyperSpeed when using it with my Xbox One X.

The issue is as follows: the first time I set up the headset, the microphone worked correctly. However, after that initial use, the microphone stopped being recognized by the console.

Currently, audio output works without any issues, but the microphone does not work in games such as Fortnite, and it is not properly detected by the Xbox system either.

I have already tried several troubleshooting steps, including restarting the console, reconnecting the wireless dongle, adjusting network settings, and checking audio configurations, but the issue persists.

I would greatly appreciate your assistance in determining whether this is a compatibility issue, configuration problem, or a possible hardware defect, and what steps I should take to resolve it.

Thank you very much for your support.

Best regards,

Jonathan Missé

I have this exact same issue.  I've even updated the firmware.  I can chat in an Xbox party chat but nothing in Fortnite.

Yeah I’m having the same exact problem. Noticed it right after the fort update. But it’s only with my blackshark v3’s. My cheap A10’s from Walmart work plugged into the controller, and I’ve done everything you could possibly do reset wise and even checked all my settings on the console, game, and razr app on Xbox. Hope to find an answer soon. Been having to use discord/xbox parties lately, which is fine for playin with friends, but not okay when you want to play fills with randos.

Same here, on my V2 pro xbox. Updated my controller and tryed every other trouble shooting method under the sun. Exclusively fortnite though also. Xbox party's work fine and I can hear myself in game with mic monitoring but not actually in game.
