I logged the ongoing issues I have had both on reddit and tickets (250830-002307).
The support I have gotten has been bad.
I have diagnosed the issue here:
https://www.reddit.com/r/diablo3/comments/1n1ustw/diablo_3_gpu_power_event_causes_restartmanager/
SIDs for non existent user accounts are being reintroduced by Microsoft Store.
This causes Battle.net to bomb, and events appear with source RestartManager and messages to the effect invalid SID for container. This causes Diablo3 to crash constantly and interfere with gameplay and progression.
The fact that the recovery partition is 14months or more out of date doesn’t help.
The fact you sell without Windows 11 Pro and have that on the recovery partition is a bigger mistake still.
Policy Manager etc, would probably help in fixing the mess.
Even after formatting the main C drive with diskpart, the stuff comes back to haunt me.
I have been fighting this issue for more than 3 weeks, 11 full fresh installs.
Co-Pilot, and Battle.net are particularly flaky.
I have a machine that is unusable.
I need someone to escalate this so someone from Razer and Microsoft are on a call together remotely fixing this with some sort of remote access screen share.
I do not want to be relayed instructions that don’t work.
I want someone to take ownership of this and fix it.
Otherwise I want a full refund for the pc, all software purchased - since the microsoft store renders it unusable (and likely on a new pc too as a result), and all other incidental hardware/cases etc, and my wasted time, which has been considerable.
I have submitted other tickets too over past 3 weeks. I need a recovery partition update.
This should be cloud based for everyone’s benefit.
I have also been unable to update to Windows 24H2. I believe NVidia drivers are the issue here.
However, when I removed those programs, and Windows 24H2 installed, and I applied NVidia Control Panel update from Microsoft Store, I was getting BSOD repeatedly too.
I demand to have a properly integration tested system so all drivers, Intel, Razer Synapse, NVidia, CoPilot etc work seamlessly without crashes.
