Microsoft Wireless Display Adapter not working

So with my previous laptops I have been able to easily connect my computer to my TV via the Microsoft Wireless display adapter, but while my Razer Blade 14 can see the adapter when I go to the connect options. I tries to connect, I see i trying on my TV but then it simply shows disconnected. Is there some setting that I need to adjust? My previous laptops all were intel based vs the blade being a AMD based

    If the Microsoft Wireless Display adapter won't work is there a wireless way to connect my Razer Blade 14 to my LG television? It is hockey season so I have to use a VPN to watch the games I want and I would much rather watch on my TV than my monitor

    The cricket sound that I am getting as a response is a bit disturbing. Hard to believe something this basic wouldn't be supported.
