Mini display port not working?

hi i have tried to use several mini displayport connectors without success. tried multiple types and last one i tried was an apple mini to mini to drive an imac 27inch screen (late 2009) i am coming to the conclusion the port on my razer blade 15 (late 2019) is faulty. is there a way i can do a hardware test on it here or does it need to be sent to razer? thanks

    Did the port work before, or is this right out of the box? In any case, send me the serial number of the laptop so I can try to look into model-specific solutions. *Locking the thread to curb the conversation to PMs.
