Missing Notifications / Slow to react. Synapse + Streamer Companion app | Razer Insider
Skip to main content
Hey all,

I was hoping someone could advice me as I'm totally baffled.

I have 2 PC setup. 1PC is dual CPU, 48GB RAM decommissioned server that I use purely for all things streaming - Audition, streamdeck, OBS and Synapse + Streamer Companion.

Another PC is used purely for gaming.

I am experiencing this issue that twitch alerts take minutes (sometimes 10+) to come through, as in my Chroma and Hue devices are that slow to react. I see the alert notification on Streamlabs AND in Streamer companion. It is almost as if the software kinda falls asleep. If I manually launch an alert withing Streamer companion it tends to start working again and catches up on delayed alerts.

CPU usage during streaming never gets higher than 30-40% so there are plenty of resources available.

I tried reinstalling everything which did not resolve this issue. I had this problem on my gaming PC too before I got the 2nd PC so reinstalling clearly didn't help as the 2nd PC got a fresh windows install etc.

All apps are up to date, all drivers are up to date.

Anyone else has this issue? Any recommendations?

I will list devices that are connected with Synapse below:

- Razer Kraken Kitty

- Razer Emote Display

- Razer Seiren Emote

- Philips Hue (2 bulbs).
