Monitor not detected connected to Thunderbolt dock, SSD drive not detected installed in Thunderbolt dock

I have purchased and installed the Thunderbolt 5 dock on my Laptop. The Synapse software sees it, and I can control lighting; however, when I plug in my monitor, it will not work and Windows will not see it. Also, the installed SSD drive is not detected, accessible or viewable to use. Please help.
