mouse click not working

Just got a pc last week and now my mouse click seems to not be working. Whenever I play a game the mouse click doesn’t work. Eveything else is fine just the click. I’ve tried some fixes but they don’t seem to work. I’m not too sure if it’s a problem with the mouse. Also pressing hard on left or right click seems to fix it for a couple of minutes but then it just starts again. But it doesn’t happen whenever I’m off a game. Model is razer viper 8khz.

Does it make any difference when the Razer Synapse software is temporarily disabled? You can also try to reinstall your mouse’s drivers. If that didn’t do the trick, then shoot me a PM along with your device’s serial number so I can validate it and check for other workarounds.

I understand that your Razer Viper 8KHz clicks intermittently stop working only while gaming on a new PC. Allow me to ask a few questions to isolate the problem:

  • When did this first start happening? Was the mouse working normally for a while after you got your PC, or did the problem show up right away?
  • Did anything specific happen before the issue started (for example, dropping the mouse, a spill, a firmware/update change, or installing new software)?
  • Does the click issue happen in every game you play, or only in certain titles?
  • When you’re on the desktop (outside of games), do the left and right clicks always work normally?

Please PM with your mouse serial number and a short video clearly showing the issue so  I can take a closer look and check our options. Upload it to Google Drive, and set it to "Public" or “Anyone Who Has The Link” so I can access the file. All the best!
